Computer cases have come a long way since the simple beige boxes of the '90's. If you were lucky you had a case with a second fan hole besides the one for the power supply, and you were cutting edge if your case had more than two slots for internal hard drives. Even compared with cases from the early 00's, the computer cases of today are orders of magnitude easier to work in and with; some even have more options than some basic model cars.
Just recently I had to open up one of my old Antec P180 cases and replace a blown power supply. This experience really drove home the difference between a case from just five years ago and a modern, feature-rich case like the Tempest EVO reviewed here today. If I had to sum up the differences in a single phrase it would most likely be: "internal room"
