🚄 Over the past ten years, #Brazil has invested large sums in expanding its #rail infrastructure. The most important drivers were the 2014 Olympic Games and the 2016 Men's Football World Cup. In this context, vehicle manufacturer Bom Sinal has supplied a considerable number of new commuter trains for the network around cities with millions of inhabitants such as Fortaleza and Natal and has retrofitted the #dieselelectric drive in existing vehicles. 🚞 Also on board: #DiwaRail transmissions from Voith. Bom Sinal ordered 68 of these drive systems in the run-up to the major sporting events. The vehicle manufacturer based in Barbalha (Ceará) was won over by the well-known high reliability of the products as well as the high level of peformance and the resulting efficiency of the drive system, which is used in light #railcars worldwide. 🔧🌎 Incidentally, we have now delivered over 4500 DiwaRail systems across the globe.
