Awesome machine
April S.· Review provided by cpap.com · May 23, 2024
Before this latest round of my therapy compliance attempts, I'd rented AirSense S9s (yes, it's been awhile!). The AirSense 10 is fabulous for someone who has historically hated CPAPs and never been compliant. The heated humidifier really helps, especially if you live in dry climate like I do (Colorado). I've been waking up without a stuffy/semi bloody nose! Which in itself is great. I keep my tube heated at 86 and have no rainout or condensation. For the record, though, my apartment stays at around only 48% humidity. ↵↵Having the EPR set at 2 full-time is so much nicer and more comfortable. I don't feel like I'm breathing with/into a machine. According to MyAir (which is super easy to use—the last time I used a CPAP I had to download my own software to interpret SD card data), my therapy is going really well. My AHI was diagnosed recently at 55 and I've been able to get it to .1-.3 most nights with a setting of 6-13.
Breath as Though You Didn't Have Sleep Apnea

The patient sales person told me that the AirSense 10 was the exact same C-PAP as the newer AirSense 11, except that the AirSense 11 had two features that I did not need (WiFi connectivity and special settings for women). Same comfort settings, same blower, same everything else. So, this was the better buy, due to its lower price.
It is blissfully quiet. Get the optional heated hose! It works.
The only downside is the terrible display. The colors used lack contrast, making it difficult to read. A flaw of misjudgment from a designer who prioritized prettiness over readability, and which should be corrected in future manufacturing runs, but not a reason not to buy it.
Just What the Doctor Ordered--and at a very good price

This was part of our first purchase at Sleeplay and until the order arrived I was a little on edge, wondering if it was "too good to be true." I received exactly what was advertised, quickly and at a very good price.**
We decided to go with the Airsense 10 because of the value and reliability we know it represents--we've had one for many years, and because the 11 hasn't had universally good reviews.
The heated tubing is really nice--wish we'd started getting that 10 years ago.
I am extremely grateful to Sleeplay for the Medical/Military/First responder discount.
Good on ya, Sleeplay!
**I forgot--one of the extra tubes we ordered for a different Airsense 10 was the incorrect model. One quick call and a new one was shipped the next day.
Sleeplay will be my first shopping stop for all things CPAP!
Great Device and Better Experience
Valued C.· Review provided by cpap.com · December 29, 2023
I have nothing but positive things to say about shopping with CPAP.com. I had originally been leasing my Resmed Airsense 10 through a DME using my insurance. This is what was recommended after my initial sleep study and diagnosis of sleep apnea. After a while I realized that the device was costing me $40/month to lease and with these devices lasting around 5 years it would be more cost effective to purchase outright. You also have the insurance company breathing down your neck if your usage drops for any reason. The process was a breeze compared to the DME. I copied the settings from my rental device to make sure I could mirror on the one I purchased. All I had to do was upload a copy of my prescription when I ordered the device online and it shipped within 24 hours. I was able to use my HSA which was also nice. I have zero complaints and would happily buy from CPAP.com again.
