I Purchased my IQ air 12 years ago. I run it everyday and night.. It's still running. YOU MUST replace the filters ! If, I turn it off for even one hour, I start to FEEL the difference in the air quality ... Sneezing, Sinus pressure, itchy eyes during pollen season. Your home breathes... and in comes the pollutants. THIS MACHINE REALLY WORKS ! It's worth every penny !

We purchased the IQAir HealthPro Compact Air Purification System in a final desperate attempt to help alleviate breathing problems resulting from my severe persistent allergic asthma. I am in my 60's and have had allergic rhinitis since age 1 and asthma since age 20, both of which have been well managed medically until three years ago when a severe flare-up resulted in my asthma transitioning to uncontrolled allergic asthma triggered by a variety of environmental elements. I was unable to stay outside for longer than about 10 to 15 minutes without an asthma flare up and even had some difficulties in-doors with the air conditioner constantly running. We hoped the IQAir would at least provide some relief in the bedroom so I could sleep comfortably, and we have not been disappointed. The very first night we used the system I slept comfortably through the night without coughing for the first time in about three years. It is not my intention to mislead anyone with this review. The IQAir system did not cure my asthma, but it did filter out sufficient allergens to allow me some much needed relief. Through the excellent medical care I have received, my asthma is finally back under control and I do not have the allergic flare-ups previously experienced, but we still use our IQAir System in our bedroom, and will continue to do so. The IQAir Purification System is not the least expensive air filter system on the market, but we firmly believe it is everything it is advertised to be and provides the very best air purification possible.

Love this unit.. In addition to this compact HP, have a Health Pro plus and an ATEM from IQ AIR and they are all outstanding products. My oldest Health Pro is now going on 20 years and still runs like new what else can you say that about ?? This compact version does the same job with a bit of a smaller footprint in a place where gas filtration is not an issue. Provides pollen-free and noticeably PURE air all night long. It works silently but perfectly and will do so for years if my older unit is any indication. I also have an ATEM that's a mini-miracle !! Truly silent on my desk or near silent at my feet while I work on audio sensitive material in my classical music production business ..

I can't say enough great things about the IQ Air products - beautifully engineered and built to last seemingly forever.!!

Purchased the IQAir HealthPro Compact model just about a month ago, for my bedroom. Sylvane's shipping and delivery was quick, and the product arrived new and in good condition.

The purifier has a sealed design...and the filters are of high quality. The fan can be loud on the higher settings...but that doesn't bother me, and at night, I actually like keeping it on about 4. (I need white noise to sleep).

Also...the unit itself feels solid enough, and is Swiss-made. I worry a little about the "arms" breaking off eventually when changing filters, but right now they are totally fine. Time will tell how they hold up...but since they've been making these models for several years, I assume they're probably just fine.

I also purchased a 5 pack of course dust pre-filter pads to try and squeeze some extra life out of the real pre-filter. They fit in snug on their own, although you can purchase a "PF-40" that you attach them to, if you wish.

I'm considering purchasing either the healthpro or the healthpro plus for another room, in case I want to use the V5 carbon filter.

I would not hesitate buying from Sylvane again, and more than likely will, soon.
