Logging only 772 sunny day miles since it rolled off GM's Oshawa, Ontario assembly line, this awesome 727 horsepower Camaro is a spotless and equally sinister approach to the ultimate muscle car. In fact, likening this road rocket to an everyday Camaro SS is akin to debating the similarities between UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and your neighborhood gym junkie: THERE IS NO COMPARISON! The car's vibrant Silver Ice Metallic two-stage presents a highly polished shine. Naturally its slick, showroom-fresh fit is as close to perfect as a factory car can get. There isn't a speck of road rash anywhere on its nose, rockers or broad silver flanks. And honestly, with so few miles on the clock, this pristine Chevy just hasn't had the opportunity to find any significant trouble on the street or in the ditch. In a world where livability continues to compromise performance, it's nice to see a car that embodies the all speed, no holds barred mindset which defined America's original muscle cars for most of their existence.

Not overly styled like some of its more common pony car counterparts, Martin's limited edition Camaro takes GM's award winning design and throws in just enough personality to provide a profile that's as familiar as it is refreshing. At the front of the car, Chevrolet's 80s-inspired fascia is accented by bright halos, a traditional gold bowtie and an aggressive, red-inlayed “SS” emblem. At the top of the car, a striped and “427” branded hood leads the eye to a solid sealing greenhouse that's complete with lightly tinted glass. At the sides of the car, well-placed “SS 427” call-outs ride in front of conservative fender stripes that evoke Chevrolet's classic, 60s-era 'brow lines'. And at the back of the car, a subtle silver spoiler floats above a third “SS 427” call-out, a second gold bowtie and bright stainless exhaust tips.

Pigments are pretty and stripes are cool, but now it's time to get down to business. Twisting 727 dyno-proven horsepower into a massive 700 lb./ft. of tire torching torque, the lightweight, high performance LS7 rumbling beneath this car's hood is a technological testament to the old rule: more cubic inches equals more horsepower! Founded in GM's successful Corvette racing program, and tweaked by Martin Technologies IHRA-proven engineering, the blueprinted mill utilizes a custom rotating assembly, optimized engine calibration and an enhanced ProCharger supercharger to flat out whip pretty much anything with four wheels. A perfect amount of air and fuel is supplied by a factory throttle body that's seated between a custom air tube and a big, reusable filter element. That air and fuel mixes in a GM intake and progresses to optimized, CNC-ported cylinder heads that are built with PSI springs, titanium retainers and factory valves. Immediately following combustion, spent gases roar through 2.5-inch stainless pipes via traditional, cast iron manifolds. And a high performance intercooler, two electric puller fans and upgraded lubrication ensure the rowdy mill provides rocket-like acceleration. Aesthetically, the car's super clean bay displays OEM-level attentiveness to both appearance and assembly. And many details, like a serialized production plaque and “MARTIN” branded fuel rail covers, dress up GM's traditionally conservative aesthetics.

Take a look under this Chevy and you'll find a factory-fresh chassis that's clean, proven and ready to pound the pavement. Side step the car's third pedal and a heavy duty clutch engages a slick-shifting Tremec 6060 6-speed. That transmission is hooked to a familiar limited slip rear end which spins sporty 3.45 gears. Built around that driveline is a Nurburgring-tested independent performance suspension that's capable of pulling almost 1 g through corners. Variable ratio, speed sensitive power steering, big Brembo calipers and giant, vented rotors combine with factory ABS and electronic brake distribution to ensure this is the best handling Camaro to date. GM's Stabilitrak traction and stability control system works with a 6-speed Camaro SS-exclusive launch control system to keep the power safe and manageable. A sweet, but equally brutal soundtrack is provided by a stainless, Martin-tuned exhaust system. And the car's “Brembo” branded calipers are fronted by 20-inch Vision Legend wheels which spin 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Pirelli P Zeros around bright chrome spokes.

Inside this pristine Camaro you'll find a Martin Leather Luxury Sport Interior that displays virtually no wear at all. The car's two-tone, “MARTIN” branded seats are supple, supportive and near perfect in every way. The dash, which features the same dark gray accents as the car's reverse-stitched door panels, hangs traditional, silver-trimmed gauges between a bold “SS427 SUPERCHARGED” emblem and standard driver information center. At the center of that dash, controls for a Boston Acoustics 9-speaker sound system ride above factory four pack accessory gauges and a short billet shifter. Below those gauges, like-new carpet is protected by color-keyed floor mats and bright Chevy sill plates. Opposite that carpet, a self-dimming mirror prominently features GM's award winning OnStar service. In front of the driver, an ornate steering wheel spins buttons for the car's Bluetooth connectivity, Boston Acoustics audio system and cruise control around a standard tilt and telescoping steering column. Behind the passengers, a surprisingly spacious trunk features enough room for a weekend's worth of luggage. And naturally, all the luxuries you'd expect in a high dollar muscle car are present and accounted for including: power windows, power door locks, heated power mirrors, a power driver's seat, remote keyless entry and a standard theft deterrent system.

The sale of this Detroit-born missile includes the window sticker outlined above, a small pile of original GM operating manuals and a Martin Technologies owner's guide.

Looking back on the long history of Chevrolet, there's little doubt this brutal SS 427 is one of the fastest, best-handling and most exclusive Camaros of all time. And with its pristine shell, highly capable chassis and asphalt destroying powerplant, it's the muscle car that EVERYONE wants. Don't miss your chance to own a 727 horsepower definition of the word “ultimate”!
