INGREDIENTS:

2 Cups Rice

5.5 Cups Water

Salt to taste

3 Pandan Leaves

METHOD:

  • Wash the rice well.
  • In a pot,add the washed Rice, Water, Salt and Pandan Leaves.Let it cook till its mushy.
  • Then mash the mushy rice.
  • In a square tray, place the Nasi Impit (Compressed Rice) and press a bit.Keep in the fridge overnight.
  • Cut the Nasi Impit (Compressed Rice) into square shapes.
  • Serve with Satay and Peanut Sauce.
