Nasi Impit or Compressed Rice

INGREDIENTS:
2 Cups Rice
5.5 Cups Water
Salt to taste
3 Pandan Leaves
METHOD:
- Wash the rice well.
- In a pot,add the washed Rice, Water, Salt and Pandan Leaves.Let it cook till its mushy.
- Then mash the mushy rice.
- In a square tray, place the Nasi Impit (Compressed Rice) and press a bit.Keep in the fridge overnight.
- Cut the Nasi Impit (Compressed Rice) into square shapes.
- Serve with Satay and Peanut Sauce.
