One of the Seven Wonders of the World, there are three pyramids in Giza and only one is still standing. You need to buy an extra ticket to enter the pyramid.

Philae Temple in Aswan
Another prominent ancient sight in the country is the Philae temple complex on Philae island in Aswan. One can see temple ruins, sandstone columns and huge carved walls here. Dedicated to goddess Isis, this temple is also the last one to be built in the classical Egyptian style.
