This position can be based in either Dubai, UAE or Cairo, Egypt.

The role: Head of Arabia

Head's of Arabia main responsibility is to manage Google's presence in Arabic-speaking emerging markets starting from the choice of markets to focus on, exploring those markets, improving Google's positioning, developing partnerships and raising the profile for those markets internally, then to proposing Google's business plan, gaining approval, and developing the markets business model from traffic to commercial success.

Head of Arabia will work with the emerging markets leadership to set business goals and will be responsible for delivering results. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can demonstrate previous strong performance, work in a rapidly changing environment, deal with ambiguity, successfully manage remote teams and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Experience in a technology-driven industry and in the Middle East is required, experience in business start ups, strategic consulting, business development, market research is a strong plus.
